Terms of purchase

These terms apply to the use of letivelosipedi.lv and to ordering goods through it. By submitting an order, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.

Goods and prices

We sell used and new bicycles and bicycle accessories. The condition of a used bicycle is stated on its product page. Every bicycle is assembled, checked and adjusted in our shop before it is sold.

Prices are given in euros. Delivery is not included in the item price; you will see the delivery charge in the order form before you submit the order.

Used bicycles are usually available as single items, and we also sell them in the shop. If an item has been sold in the meantime, we will let you know and the order will not go ahead. If we notice an obvious error in a price or description, we will contact you before sending the invoice.

Ordering

The site has no shopping cart and no online payment. To order:

• click "Order" on the product page;
• fill in the form: first name, last name, e-mail, phone, personal code and delivery method, plus address and postal code for courier delivery; a note is optional;
• submit the order, and you will receive an e-mail confirming that we have it;
• we check that the item is available and send you an invoice by e-mail.

We need your personal code to issue the invoice. The purchase contract is concluded when we have confirmed availability and sent you the invoice.

Payment

Pay the invoice by bank transfer, using the details and within the deadline shown on it. We hand over or ship the item once the payment has arrived. If the invoice is not paid by the deadline, we may cancel the order.

Delivery

You can collect your order free of charge from our shop at Ādmiņu iela 4, Rīga. We also deliver anywhere in Latvia by Latvijas Pasts courier for 20 €. We ship after receiving payment, usually within a few business days. See "Delivery and returns" for details.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and ordered at a distance, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason, under the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums) and Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts" (Noteikumi par distances līgumu). The procedure is described on the "Delivery and returns" page. The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in person in the shop.

Warranty

Bicycles come with a 2-year shop warranty. After the first 200 km you can bring the bicycle to the shop for a free first service, where we adjust it. If a defect appears during the warranty period, contact us by phone or e-mail.

Claims for non-conformity

In addition to the shop warranty, the law gives you the right to make a claim for goods that do not conform to the contract within two years of purchase. This right comes from the Consumer Rights Protection Law, and the shop warranty does not limit it.

Liability

We are liable for the conformity of goods with the contract to the extent set by law. We are not liable for damage caused by improper use of the goods, or for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under Latvian law.

Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] or +371 26333045. Most issues can be settled by talking them through.

If we cannot reach agreement, you can turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs, www.ptac.gov.lv), which also hosts the Consumer Dispute Resolution Committee, or to a court under Latvian law. These terms and the purchase contract are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
